Updated 2026-10-29 · Topicut editorial

Meaning

Click-through rate is a ratio of defined clicks to eligible impressions over a stated scope and period.

A practical example

Twenty clicks from one thousand counted impressions gives an illustrative rate of two percent.

What to check

A rate without its denominator and source is hard to compare. Different surfaces or impression definitions can make superficially similar percentages incompatible.
