Meaning
A beat is a small unit of change or emphasis within a scene or sequence.
A practical example
A narrator introduces a measurement, the viewer sees the diagram, then the interpretation changes. Each moment can be planned as a separate beat.
What to check
Do not confuse a beat with a fixed number of seconds. Its duration depends on what the audience must see, hear and understand.
For a related planning or text task, open the words to minutes. The tool has its own limits; its result is not a measurement or approval of every concept described here.
