Gomotion footage matching and source review are different comparison questions

Gomotion's public positioning emphasizes assembled videos with relevant real footage.

Gomotion's public positioning emphasizes assembled videos with relevant real footage. Its legal page separately states that it does not clear the retrieved material's rights for the user. Those two statements describe different parts of the production decision.

Make the decision explicit

When evaluating a footage-led tool, test relevance and source review independently. Ask whether a shot matches the specific event, whether its original source can be identified and what reuse evidence is delivered. Do not infer rights clearance from a visually convincing sample or from the fact that a tool found the material automatically.

A worked example

A proposed comparison could use an invented two-paragraph brief about a historical machine. For each resulting shot, a reviewer would label exact subject match, general illustration or unresolved mismatch. A separate pass would inspect the source record and relevant terms. This is a test design, not a report that we generated or scored Gomotion output.

Review before handoff

Keep current pricing, actual usage, generation time and manual repair time in separate columns. A monthly allowance divided by a stated output capacity is customer spending arithmetic, not the vendor's production cost. Topicut's attribution builder only formats supplied metadata; it should not be presented as an automatic solution to the rights questions raised by this comparison.
