Meaning
Visual evidence is an image or recording used to support a particular claim, rather than merely decorate a passage.
A practical example
A dated original plan may support a claim about an intended layout, while a modern photograph may only illustrate the location.
What to check
A picture's emotional force is not proof of the claim. Record which part of the image supports which statement and what remains unproven.
