Review AI disclosure against the actual video before uploading

AI disclosure should be evaluated against what the viewer encounters, not just the name of the software used.

AI disclosure should be evaluated against what the viewer encounters, not just the name of the software used. The useful question is whether a realistic alteration or synthetic scene changes what people may understand as a real person, place or event.

Make the decision explicit

Read the current official upload guidance and inspect the final video, including audio and inserted imagery. Record the relevant changes for the human making the upload decision. Do not assume that using any AI requires an identical response, or that adding a generic sentence to the description replaces the platform's actual disclosure control.

A worked example

An invented explainer uses a clearly labelled geometric diagram to explain a mechanism. A second version inserts a realistic reconstruction that resembles documentary footage of an event. Those treatments can create different viewer impressions even when both were made with automated tools. Preserve the distinction during review instead of giving every asset the same undifferentiated AI badge.

Review before handoff

Confirm the control names and requirements in the current upload interface; platform wording and product availability can change. A disclosure decision does not settle copyright, accuracy or monetization eligibility. Keep those reviews separate. Topicut's description builder can organize your text, but it does not make the upload decision or publish the video to a channel.

Put the idea to work

Automatic dubbing still needs an editorial review pass

Automatic dubbing can reduce language-production work, but a fluent-sounding track can still change a name, number, qualification or speaker relationship.
